Evaluating and deploying robotics technology in hospital environments presents unique operational challenges. In this talk, we describe our experience working with various robotics and non-robotics startups that tested their products at our health system, share strategies aimed at hospitals seeking to evaluate and implement cutting-edge robotics technology, and present suggestions geared towards robotics startups and human factors specialists evaluating robotics technology in hospital environments.
