Abstract
Objectives
To study the anatomy of the medial patellar stabilizers and their relationship with adjacent structures.
Methods
Anatomical study on 15 knees, six from cadaver donors and nine from suprapatellar amputation.
Results
The medial ligament complex was identified in the dissected knees. The characteristics of the ligaments, the insertion sites, the morphometry and the relationships with adjacent structures were documented.
Conclusion
The medial ligament complex was identified in the dissected knees. The characteristics of the ligaments, the insertion sites, the morphometry and the relationships with adjacent structures were documented.
