Abstract
Studies concentrating on Green HRM have proliferated recently with the rise in environmental awareness. According to studies, businesses which could integrate their strategies of managing the environment with their human resource management plans achieved better results at the organisational and individual levels. The article undertakes a systematic literature review of the quantitative research conducted on Green HRM in manufacturing industries. The selected studies include 51 quantitative research articles on manufacturing industries listed on Web of Science, Scopus and Google Scholar databases. An attempt is made to explore the theoretical foundations on which these quantitative articles are built, methods used in quantitative research on Green HRM and the identification of the nomological network describing how Green HRM is positioned with respect to its antecedents, outcomes and mediators or moderators. In addition, certain limitations of the present research on Green HRM in the manufacturing organisations are identified, along with guidelines for further studies.
