Abstract
This research study has been undertaken to understand and study the perception of faculty members regarding various input parameters of an institution, which generally students look at from outside at the time of admission such as faculty, infrastructure, reputation and placements. In addition to this, the study has been conceptualised to identify the underlying factors as per faculty perceptions which have an impact on the growth of the institution and well-being of the students. This study was able to gauge different factors which had an impact on the proper functioning of institutions. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) helped in the identification of underlying factors which were further tested for validity via the confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Structural equation modelling was further employed to establish structural relationship between underlying factors identified and to build a model.
