GA Robertson, MM Al-Qattan. Sublimis loop reconstruction of the transverse metacarpal ligament following central ray amputation. Can J Plast Surg 1993;1(3):128-130. A new procedure to restore the integrity of the deep transverse metacarpal ligament after central ray amputation using a flexor sublimis loop is described. This technique can be used both for primary or secondary reconstruction where the remaining ligamentous tissues are insufficient for direct repair.
