Endometriosis is a chronic condition that causes significant pain, subfertility and impairs the quality of life of affected women and girls. There is no known cure and management is tailored to specific individual circumstances. International best practice recommendation advocates managing severe endometriosis within centres of excellence with multidisciplinary team (MDT) of specialists. This type of care should focus on the chronic disease and biopsychosocial models. We describe a first and unique endometriosis MDT that incorporates patient social support group in a low and middle income country.
