The photo page 13 of the previous issue of LAN Magazine (Vol. 2, No. 1), listed as Margarita Palutke, Ph.D., was actually Dr. Sue Steven of SmithKlineBeecham. LAN apologizes for this error to all parties.
Dr. Sue Steven of SmithKline Beecham, Pharmaceuticals Division, works with some of the latest, cutting edge technology in robotics. Where, you might ask, do Roboteers derive their inspiration? In the case of Dr. Steven it is, quite literally, a family tradition. Her father, also Dr. Steven, is shown at the right photographed with a GE robot.
