Abstract

Physical Optics Corporation (POC) introduces the SSMART Analyzer, a hybrid neural network that promises to increase the speed and sensitivity of spectrometers and other analytical instruments. Ideally suited for both OEMs and end-users, the SSMART Analyzer optimizes spectral identification and quantitative analysis for a variety of tasks, including process control, environmental monitoring, machine vision and medical diagnostics. TSSMART Analyzer extends an instrument's detection capabilities and accurately identifies data with an input signal-to-noise ratio as low as 1:1.
The SSMART Analyzer is excellent for absorbance, gas chromatography and mass spectroscopy and performs complex spectral identification and nonlinear data analyses in milliseconds without imposing major development tasks on the user. This cost-effective hybrid neural network is delivered as a software package or embedded subroutine and can be customized to fit any application, The SSMART Analyzer operates under Windows 3.1, Windows95 and Windows NT environments. To help determine the feasibility of using the SSMART Analyzer, POC will screen a set of customer-supplied data at no charge.
Established in 1985, Physical Optics Corporation manufactures a range of off-the-shelf and custom hybrid neural networks.
