Abstract
Happy New Year! We hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday season. We are very excited about our first issue of 2018 and the upcoming year. Last year was a record year for Global Spine Journal (GSJ)—we had the most submissions ever, published 2 special issues, and had a strong presence at Global Spine Congress with our issues flying off the shelves on the first day.
We believe that 2018 will be an even better year for GSJ. With each passing year the journal continues to grow, thrive, and flourish. We are excited to be publishing more special issues this year (stay tuned for announcements on that). We will also be returning to the Global Spine Congress in Singapore in May. GSJ will again have their own space at the AOSpine booth, and we will have even more issues and special issues to hand out to all of the attendees. The Global Spine Congress will also feature the return of our popular AOSpine Members Only Session, “How to Write and Review a Scientific Paper,” as well as some other exciting events.
The social media presence for GSJ has grown stronger in the last year, and following the social media accounts is the best way to stay updated with issue releases, special issue news, and Editor’s Choice articles.
