Abstract
This statement of the Principles of Management-Nurse Relationship in Industry and Commerce (revised by AAIN Board of Directors, April 1976) is presented with the hope that it may supply a sound basis for occupational health programs which will, in the aggregate, improve the health, safety and morale of employees while decreasing the incidence of accidents and absenteeism. These principles reflect management's increasing awareness of the broader role which the qualified occupational health nurse can fill in the Industrial Relations Program when given the proper opportunities, responsibilities and support.
