Abstract
The probability of an industrial nurse being involved in professional liability action would appear, on the basis of past records, to be slight. Considering the number of industrial nurses and their varied responsibilities, the number of such cases has been negligible. However, the rise in claims against all professional groups and the broadening view of liability taken by many judges and jurists is a serious matter for all professional people, including the industrial nurse.
