Abstract
There is now widespread acceptance of the importance of services for the maintenance and promotion of the health of the worker. Such services have grown well beyond the first aid treatment of in-plant emergencies. In consideration of these advances, the need for nursing services in industry can be met primarily by professional nurses, and other ancillary nursing personnel working under supervision.
