Abstract
It has been called to our attention that we made two serious errors in the October issue—both against one author—Roger B. Maas, Ed.D., the author of “Trends in Industrial Hearing Protection Programs.”
We not only spelled Dr. Maas' name incorrectly, but without academic authorization we bestowed upon him an honorary medical degree. We apologize to Dr. Maas and shall try to make amends by being sure that reprints of his article carry his correct name and title. We shall also be sure that his name and degree are correctly listed in the Journal's annual index … we hope.
