Abstract
This statement of the principles that govern the relationships between nurse and physician in industry has been developed by the American Association of Industrial Nurses, Inc., and the industrial physicians of the Association's Medical Advisory Council, as a guide to management, physician and nurse. The purpose of the statement is to assist in attaining well-integrated, efficient and effective employee health services that will provide maximum benefits for industry and its employees, and thus achieve the major objective of promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of people in industry.
