Thank you for this letter and short article: “Obesity: A Complex Process Requiring Reframing” which extended upon our review 1 to describe upstream determinants of the obesity epidemic. We agree that stigmatization or victimization by care providers is counterproductive and that tackling the obesity epidemic requires both public health and social interventions.
