Abstract

Salmoral A, Penzo C and Baines S.
Readers should note that this article was published with the following ethical approval statement:
The work described in this manuscript involved the use of non-experimental (owned or unowned) animals and procedures that differed from established internationally recognised high standards (‘best practice’) of veterinary clinical care for the individual patient. The study therefore had prior ethical approval from an established (or ad hoc) committee as stated in the manuscript.
However, the ethical approval statement has now been amended to the following:
The work described in this manuscript involved the use of non-experimental (owned or unowned) animals. Established internationally recognised high standards (‘best practice’) of veterinary clinical care for the individual patient were always followed and/or this work involved the use of cadavers. Ethical approval from a committee was therefore not specifically required for publication in JFMS Open Reports. Although not required, where ethical approval was still obtained, it is stated in the manuscript.
Furthermore, there was a labelling error in Figure 2, where parts (b) and (c) were reversed. The parts for Figure 2(b) and (c) are shown with the correct labels below and this correction has been made to the article published online:

A 13-year-old neutered male domestic longhair cat (case 2) with basal cell carcinoma treated with electroporation techniques. (a) Patient at presentation; note the extensive crusty erosion; (b) local injection of a 0.5% solution of cisplatin within the tumour bed; and (c) the same cat at the point of the completion of its treatment
