Congenital prostatic cysts are rare and it is unusual for these patients to present with symptoms. We report the case of a 17-year-old man who presented with obstructive lower urinary tract symptoms and was found to have a prostatic cyst and other abnormalities of the genitourinary system. The patient subsequently underwent transurethral aspiration of the cyst with good effect. A brief review of the embryology behind these lesions along with a review of the literature is provided.
