Here we describe a case review of a 61-year-old female who developed a Surgicel® granuloma following a partial nephrectomy for clear cell carcinoma in a single functioning kidney. We discuss the biodynamics of Surgicel®, the challenge of reaching the diagnosis and the implications of a Surgicel® granuloma for patients.
