Abstract
EduGorilla is an Indian educational technology (EdTech) company that creates educational content. EduGorilla wants to incorporate Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) into content generation. However, it is also concerned about the quality issues, trust-related concerns, and other challenges associated with Gen AI. This case study talks about a company’s dilemma when adopting Gen AI to create content and related concepts, such as what Gen AI is, how it works, and its benefits and challenges. The case is apt to discuss and teach Gen AI holistically. The case gives valuable insights for teaching and discussing various concepts such as the adoption and implementation of Gen AI from a company’s perspective, quality and trust-related concerns of Gen AI, advantages and challenges of Gen AI, pricing, and various evaluation metrics of Gen AI. Discussing all these concepts makes this case holistic. Although the case is written for an educational company, it talks about various concepts that apply to various fields. This case study benefits students as it helps them solve and understand problems related to adopting and implementing Gen AI, which is essential for various managerial roles. The case also talks about the future of Gen AI and whether it will replace humans.
