Abstract
CMED Health is a pioneering health-tech startup in Bangladesh, founded by Dr Khondaker Abdullah Al Mamun. It works toward accessible and affordable preventive healthcare through mobile technologies, IoT devices, and AI-powered analytics for proactive health monitoring. This includes services such as Digital Health Corners, Smart SuSastho Kormis, and a GP Model for vital health screening, digital prescriptions, and remote patient management. CMED also addresses issues on corporate wellness, maternal health, and public health policy collaboration to fight non-communicable diseases. Its cloud-based data management ensures secure health record access. Its scalable model thus has established CMED in a position of partnership with government agencies and NGOs for sustainable impact, despite financial constraints and workforce shortages. An award-winning social enterprise, it seeks to transform healthcare in Bangladesh and establish replicable models for other developing countries, thus showcasing the future of digital healthcare in resource-limited settings.
