Abstract
The present Article provides an overview and preliminary evaluation of the Commission's and the Greek and Italian Presidencies' drafts regarding the Regulation on the Establishment of the European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO). As a background, reflections and proposals before the publication of the draft Regulation are presented. Finally, the impact of the potential establishment of the EPPO on existing EU entities competent for the protection of the EU financial interests is also discussed.
