Thank you for your letter. This article was written to create awareness amongst authors and reviewers that predatory publishing practices exist in the community. It was not the intent of the article to be prescriptive. The Beall’s list and ‘the Bohannon experiment’ are examples in this article to show the presence of predatory publishing.
