Middle meningeal artery aneurysms are rare. Less infrequently post-traumatic aneurysms on meningeal vessels have been reported. Often true meningeal aneurysms are associated with tumours, Paget's disease and vascular malformations. This is the second report of a middle meningeal artery aneurysm associated with meningioma. We indicate that haemodynamic factors are important in the development of these aneurysms.
