Neurocutaneous melanosis is a rare neuroectodermal dysplasia characterised by deposition of melanin in the leptomeninges. Classically it shows hyperintense meninges on T1 weighted images with post contrast enhancement in some cases. We describe CT and MR in the findings in a five-year-old boy with neurocutaneous melanosis.
