We sought to obtain high resolution 3D contrast-enhanced MR angiograms of the carotid arteries, vertebral arteries and aortic arch with venous signal suppression utilizing novel timing techniques. A secondary purpose was to compare contrast-enhanced MR angiograms with 2D time-of-flight MR angiograms of the carotid arteries.
