Abstract

We describe the current use of DSA in the diagnostic work-up of the cerebrovascular patients.

The use of a non invasive method like colordoppler sonography, MRA ane SCTA has dramatically reduced the indications for DSA.

At present DSA is proposed only for symptomatic patients with controversial non invasive examinations.
