Gli autori, tra i cavernomi dell'encefalo riscontrati negli ultimi 3 anni, riportano il caso di un paziente portatore di localizzazioni multiple ad evoluzione fortemente calcifica, evenienza questa relativamente rara. Vengono discussi i criteri clinico-diagnostici atti all'identificazione delle lesioni e alla valutazione del tipo di evolutività del cavernoma. L'analisi di detti criteri può e deve condizionare l'indicazione al trattamento sia esso farmacologico o chirurgico.
