Viene descritto il caso di un paziente con forma classica di malattia delle urine a sciroppo d'acero che mostrava aspetti TC di ridotta densità della sostanza bianca sopratentoriale e della porzione posteriore del mesencefalo e del tronco; anche i nuclei pallidi erano interessati.
