Abstract
Italian
A left trigeminal nerve cavernous hemangioma is reported in a 17-year-old male. The lesion was associated with insidious onset left facial numbness. A non-contrast T1-weighted MRI showed a hyperintense lobulated mass which had a hypointense peripheral rim with hyperintense core on T2-weighted images. The mass remained hyperintense on fat suppressed T1-weighted images. Despite the unusual location the diagnosis was established because of typical appearance.
