Abstract
Each year at the Annual Meeting of the American Association for Respiratory Care, the RESPIRATORY CARE Open Forum provides a platform for the reporting and discussion of some of the clinical studies, method/device evaluations, and case reports that members and friends have completed during the previous year. During the 1988 Open Forum in Orlando, Florida, some 89 papers will be presented- clustered into groups of similar topics or into minisymposia. We publish the abstracts of those papers here, sequenced as they will be presented. An index of the authors appears on page 959, with the Presenters indicated by boldface type.
