A ten-week program of planned exercises for 15 children with asthma was provided at the Utica YWCA, with emphasis on improvement of exercise tolerance and attitude of the child and family toward the disease. Pulmonary function studies were performed before the program and at the end of the ten weeks. This report provides an outline of the program and the results of the study.
