The Weight of the Nation for Kids film series highlights youth who take a lead role in making healthy changes in their schools and communities. School nurses can combat childhood obesity in their schools and communities by implementing an initiative based on the film series along with resources from the National Institutes of Health to support healthy eating and regular physical activity in youth.
