Overview
This 1-day live course will provide the participants with an in-depth didactic review of clinical evaluation, surgical treatment options, and rehabilitation techniques for select intra-articular and extra-articular hip conditions including femoroacetabular impingement, acetabular labral tears, and articular cartilage pathology as well as snapping hip syndrome, greater trochanteric bursitis, and hip flexor pathologies.
Arthroscopic surgery lab sessions for the hip will be conducted at the Orthopedic Learning Center Bio-Skills Lab. In addition, hands-on clinical lab sessions including examination and advanced rehabilitation techniques will be presented.

The purpose of the AMSSM Foundation Research Grant Award program is to foster original scientific investigations by members of AMSSM. Completed grant applications must be submitted by November 4, 2022. To be eligible, the primary investigator must be an AMSSM member. AMSSM Minority Research Grant Award ($10,000)

AMSSM is excited to continue its research grant opportunity geared specifically for researchers identifying as underrepresented minorities. The purpose of the AMSSM Minority Research Grant is to provide research opportunities specifically for historically underrepresented minorities in biomedical research to advance representation across diverse backgrounds and promote health equity in sports medicine research. The grant provides $10,000 in funding with a due date of February 17, 2023.
