Abstract
The growing demand for Health Information Managers (HIMs) in Victorian hospitals has increased the importance of job satisfaction in maximising performance and ensuring high retention levels both within the profession and the state.

While the study demonstrates a scope for improvement, it also highlights the general satisfaction of the Victorian HIM population.
