Injuries of the ulnar collateral ligament are common, often seen in younger patients involved in athletic activities. Partial ruptures are best treated with hand therapy. Complete ruptures, however, are optimally managed by early surgical repair. We discuss the anatomical basis of this injury and also present key aspects of management.
