Providing and receiving feedback is an essential aspect of medical training. This can present unique challenges for neurodivergent GP registrars. Neurodiversity is an ‘invisible disability’; many GP registrars (and their trainers) may be under-recognised and undiagnosed, so it is important to recognise that feedback should be tailored to the needs of the individual, regardless of diagnostic label. Communication is key to understanding.
