Answer B. Non-contrast computed tomography scan

For people with suspected renal stones, a non-contrast computed tomography scan is the best form of imaging to confirm the diagnosis. This also excludes hydronephrosis and detects any sign of an abdominal aortic aneurysm. For pregnant ladies, an ultrasound scan should be performed instead.
