Abstract
A recent report in the medical news described how a practice had decided to move administrative staff from the front of reception because of the level of abuse received from patients. The COVID-19 pandemic has put untold pressure on the National Health Service (NHS), its users and staff. Dr Hana Patel discusses how to manage difficult consultations and gives tips in this two-part series.
