Abstract
Young carers face many difficulties on a daily basis in areas such as physical health, mental health and education. By being aware of what support is available to them, we can make a positive impact on a child’s life and lessen the burden of responsibility at such a young age. It is our duty as healthcare professionals to recognise these patients, support them and allow them to flourish.
