This report presents a rare case of flexor digitorum superficialis tendon rupture following intratendinous steroid injection, which caused a fixed proximal interphalangeal joint flexion deformity in a 45-year-old man. Surgical correction required complete release of the flexor digitorum superficialis insertion.
