Multiple spontaneous ruptures of the flexor digitorum profundus tendon of fingers in a child

Abstract

Spontaneous ruptures of flexor tendons in children without a clear cause are rare. We describe the case of a 19-month-old girl with a history of multiple spontaneous ruptures of flexor tendons in both hands.
