With the publication of a number of recent reports (eg: DOH 1999a, UKCC 1999a), the National Executive meeting of the National Association of Theatre Nurses seems a timely opportunity to gaze into the crystal ball of nurse education in the next millennium. In particular, as a supporting paper to the above meeting, it offers a valuable chance to explore the implications of some of the recommendations for theatre nurses.
