A Convenient Method for the Synthesis of Mixed Succinimido Carbonates from Alcohols, using Disuccinimido Carbonate. Application to Alkoxycarbonylation of Amino Acids ‡
An efficient method for the synthesis of various mixed succinimido carbonates, commonly used for alkoxycarbonylation of amino acids, is described; disuccinimido carbonate has been exclusively used as a reagent for preparation of the above carbonates from structurally diverse alcohols.
