Abstract
“Law” and “faith” appear to us as separate entities, but have they always been? This article argues that the Old Testament/Hebrew Bible and early Judaism display a kind of legal discourse that reveals a law so interfused with a relational stance to the divine that “law” and “faith” appear to be melded into one inclusive, hybrid category.
