This article discusses performance
indicators and their uses. What
part can examination results play as
performance indicators for internal
management purposes? Based upon
a case-study, conducted at the
University of Reading, suggestions
are made about how schools might use
results more meaningfully. It shows
how the 'added value' of schooling
can be calculated.
