The Attitudes of Men and Women Primary School Teachers to Promotion and Educafion Management

Abstract

The unequal distribution of men and women in schools — men get a disproportionate share of promotion — has been investigated in biological, social and political frameworks. This research in a Welsh LEA reports on how women and men teachers see the issues. It recommends LEA interventions.
