Microcomputer repairs are a neglected aspect ofeducational resource
management, this article argues.
Organisational structure and
mnanagement data needed to make
rational decisions on repairs are patchy
or missing. It shows how LEAs could
produce a more efficient and economical
repair system. The study was undertaken
in the School of Education, University of
Reading.
