RETRACTION NOTICE: Multiple damage detections in plate-like structures using curvature mode shapes and gapped smoothing method

This retraction follows an investigation by the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, Pakistan. The investigation carried out by the university’s Inquiry Committee found that Dr. Aashir Waleed, Mr. Saeed Ahmad, Mr. Nasir Ahmad, Mr. Umar Siddique Virk, and Mr. Muhammad Tanveer Riaz, did not seek the appropriate consent of Dr. Ummul Baneen, supervisor of the original research reported in the article, before its publication.

The Inquiry Committee recommended retraction of the article on the basis of authorship misconduct. The authors cooperated with the university’s investigation and have agreed to this retraction.
