Abstract
This case study is designed for pre-service school administrators in theoretical foundations courses in educational administration. It describes the circumstance of a principal who has been in the position for two years. The district demographics have changed because of rapid growth in the area, which also precipitated a change in the ethnic composition of the student population and faculty members. One day, the principal is faced with lawsuits that claim that the school has violated the rights of two student groups. She is concerned that district officials will blame her for what is happening at the school.
