Abstract
This case study examines the impact that implementation of a collaborative style of bargaining has had on one Ohio school district. Readers will gain insight as to the effect the style of bargaining a school district chooses can have on shaping the faculty/administrative relationship. As many schools explore the possibilities of using collaborative styles of bargaining, it is appropriate that educators investigate what impact this choice may have on this important relationship. Although the case study contains real information gathered at a rural school in northwest Ohio, all names have been changed in an effort to protect the anonymity of the district.
